Level 3:
27.1
  • We sort our notes into TOPIC stacks.
  • To do this we read our first two notes and ask, “related or unrelated?”
  • The notes are related if they are about the same TOPIC.
  • We print that TOPIC on the TOPIC line of one note card, and we print the TOPIC's initial on the other card.
  • The two notes begin a TOPIC stack.
  • We set unrelated notes on our desk, apart from one another other.
  • They might begin other stacks.
  • We read each note and ask, “related or unrelated?”
  • We sort all notes into TOPIC stacks.
  • In each stack we print the TOPIC on one card, and we print the TOPIC's initial on the other cards.
