  • I picked up all of my notes.
  • I read my first note and asked, “A DEFINITION?”
  • When I saw a word needing a definition, I marked a large X next to DEFINITION.
  • After questioning all my notes, I chose 2-4 DEFINITIONS to write into my report.
  • I circled the word DEFINITION and I wrote my chosen WORD and its DEFINITION on the back of the note card.
  • Later, when I write my report, the circled DEFINITION will help me remember to turn my card over to write my WORD and my DEFINITION into my report.
