  • I picked up all of my notes.
  • I read my first note and added, β€œFor Example?”
  • When I thought of an example, I drew a large X next to EXAMPLE, and I started a stack of EXAMPLE notes.
  • Then I continued reading and questioning my other notes.
  • After questioning all of my notes to find EXAMPLES, I zeroed in on the stack with an X next to EXAMPLE.
  • From these I chose 2-4 EXAMPLES.
  • I wrote my chosen EXAMPLES along the top of the backs of their cards.
  • Then, on the front of each chosen card I circled the word EXAMPLE.
  • Later, when I write my report, this circled EXAMPLE will help me remember to turn my card over and write my EXAMPLE into my report.
