Number Notes Sensibly - Example

• I arranged my three TOPIC stacks like a list on my desk.
• Then I wrote each TOPIC on my Topic Outline, FORM 5.
• I read my six TOPIC I notes.
• I arranged them to make sense, and I numbered them in the circles.
• On my Topic Outline, FORM 5 I wrote a 6 after the 1 in my TOPIC I bubble, and I wrote 7 in my TOPIC II bubble.
• I laid my first note stack faced down on my desk.
• Now I spread out my TOPIC II notes.
• I read them, arranged them, and continued numbering them.
• In my Outline bubbles I wrote 7-12 for my TOPIC II notes, and I wrote 13 for my first TOPIC III note.
• I laid my second note stack faced down, and I criss-crossed it on my first stack.
• I finished TOPIC III, and I wrote my note numbers 13-15 on my Topic Outline.
• I criss-crossed this third stack faced down on my first and second stacks.
