  1. Choose one of your notes that have two, three, or four parts.
  2. Plan an out-of-order pattern.
  3. Write your planned pattern in the upper-left corner of your note card.
  4. Read your sentence aloud to be sure that it makes sense and that it sounds the way you want it to sound.
  5. Plan out-of-order sentence patterns for 5 or 6 more notes that have two, three, or four parts.
